On the fourth of July I went out with my dad and uncle Kirby to fish. This is the sunrise we saw on the way out. The following pics are of that day.

Everybody and their brother was out for the fourth of July...this is in the intercoastal. 

Everyone jockeying for positions to get those bait fish. 

Here's the spot to catch the bait fish. 

Working hard to reel 'em in! The belt didn't fit me and so the rod kept falling out and jamming me in the leg. "Pull up, reel down" my uncle Kirby said. I did and.... 

Here's my fish!!!! He wieghed about 20lbs according to our scale but we all agreed he wieghed more than that. I suppose this is how fish tales get started. I'm telling you though...the things was heavy!

While I visited Hugh in Virginia (I'm staying in Ft. Pierce for a while to work) we happened upon this horse show by 4-H. What fun! 

Pics from the past. One of my very favorite places Hugh and I visited was the Dominican Republic. Here you see that we got boarded by immigration to make sure everything was in order. Prior to this we had just about every local on the pier trying to help tie the boat to the dock...apparently anyone who helped hoped for a tip. Someone even started UNtying lines that were already taken care of just to get his "help" in there. It was a hectic docking, that is for sure! 

One of my favorite ports was in the Dominican Republic. Our friend, "Thomas" took us to this amazing waterfall called Salto De Limon. There are some pics to follow to give you perspective on how big the thing was.
